I had one of the best times ever at this show.  I was the opening act in a trio of ladies and may I just say we all rocked.  Cam Boyd came out and played guitar with me, even jumping in on a song we hadn’t rehearsed previously!  Amazing.  I just love singing with him.  It’s so much more fun to be up there with a buddy.

Julia Massey followed with some great heartfelt tunes.  She even pulled out the Casio keyboard.  It was so awesome and I was so jealous of her keyboard.  Plus, she’s one of those people that you just sort of instantly fall in love with.  Really, you should catch one of her shows just to bask in her sunshine. 

The Side Project finished up the night with some of the most gorgeous music I’ve heard in a long time.  Suzie Bradford has an incredible voice and their lush music just washes over you and makes you feel all buttery inside.  Ben Bradford played some amazing guitar (I’m so jealous!) and the whole band sounded great together.  They’re another band you really need to see.
